Anthropic said on September 30 (local time), via the official Claude account on X, that it will hold Claude Founder House, an in-person event for founders, in two cities: San Francisco and Stockholm. The San Francisco edition runs for three days, October 6 to 8, during SF Tech Week, and the Stockholm edition takes place on October 14. "Come for talks, workshops, and office hours with our team, plus time to meet others building with Claude," Anthropic wrote in the post, adding, "Whether you're a founder, a CEO, or a builder, there's a session for you."
According to Anthropic's event page, the San Francisco venue is Terra Gallery at 511 Harrison Street. For three days Anthropic is taking over the two-floor warehouse and turning it into a place to work, learn and meet other founders and operators. Doors open at 11 a.m. Pacific time Tuesday through Thursday, and until 5 p.m. an all-day café hosts talks, workshops, meetings and office hours with Anthropic's Applied AI team. The audience is founders, CEOs and technical co-founders building AI-native companies. Anthropic describes the space as "built for the next generation of great AI companies" and says visitors can stop by for a single session or stay all three days.
The speaker list has 36 names. Founders and executives from PostHog, Netlify, Simile, Gamma, Town, Retool and OpenEvidence, along with investors from Sequoia and Lightspeed, will lead talks and firesides. Netlify CEO Matt Biilmann, PostHog co-founder Tim Glaser and OpenEvidence Chief Medical Officer Travis Zack are on the list, alongside people from NVIDIA, ClickHouse, ICONIQ and Bessemer. Eleven speakers come from Anthropic, including Mike Krieger, who leads Anthropic Labs, Head of Startups Beth Robertson and Member of Technical Staff Jarred Sumner. Hands-on workshops from startups and the Anthropic team are scheduled separately, and the agenda also includes brunches and a founders run club.
On the final day, October 8, a separate Founder Salon for founders shipping on Claude runs from 1:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. David Rosenthal, co-host of the Acquired podcast, will be in conversation with Mike Krieger, and other Anthropic leaders will talk about what comes next for startups building on Claude. Founders will also demo live on stage while the audience votes for its favorites. Teams that want to demo can attach a short video demo to their application.
The Stockholm event splits the day in two. The Founder cohort, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central European Summer Time, brings together founders and CEOs of AI-native startups in the Nordics. Anthropic calls it "a morning built to sharpen your next twelve months." It covers where Claude goes next, an internal playbook on how Anthropic ships with Claude, founder panels on product, teams and margins, and office hours with the Applied AI team. The six speakers are Anthropic Head of Startups Aiden Blake, Lamis Mukta of Applied AI, Lovable co-founder Fabian Hedin, Legora CTO Jacob Lauritzen, General Catalyst partner Zeynep Yavuz-Willson and Supermetrics founder and co-CEO Mikael Thuneberg.
The Builder cohort, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., is a hands-on session for developers, engineers and technical founders. It opens with an Applied AI masterclass on building with Claude and agents, followed by a guided build that takes the room step by step from a blank editor to working software. The registration page says the session is "designed so everyone finishes — whether this is your first build with Claude or your hundredth." In the closing community showcase, selected builders demo on stage and the audience votes for first place. An after-party starts at 5:30 p.m. Both cohorts are curated and require approval from the Anthropic team, and technical founders can join both.
The 12-second announcement video METAL reviewed is a silent animated poster. The words Claude Founder House sit on an orange background while a hand grips a web of dots and lines and then turns it into a single round flower. Below are the line Keep thinking. and the names of the two cities, San Francisco, CA and Stockholm, Sweden. As of October 1 the post had about 181,000 views, 2,258 likes, 269 bookmarks and 140 replies.
METAL previously reported on Anthropic releasing founder videos from its Frontier Day startup event in September, and covered the Claude Code team at Anthropic Labs, which Mike Krieger leads. Krieger takes the stage as the conversation partner at the Founder Salon in San Francisco.
The two schedules point in the same direction. Anthropic lists "Practical, not theoretical" among its reasons to attend, and 11 of the 36 San Francisco speakers are its own staff. The model company itself runs office-hour bookings, live demo votes and curated cohorts, gathering companies that build products on its model in one room. In San Francisco, investors from Sequoia, Lightspeed, ICONIQ and Bessemer share the space; in Stockholm, people from Lovable, Legora and Supermetrics and a General Catalyst partner take the stage. Applications for both cities are open on Anthropic's event pages.
