ByteDance Seed is the AI research organization of ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok. It created Seedance, the video model used as source material by Higgsfield and Krea. In August 2026, Higgsfield released a 110-minute AI feature film starring real actors, using Seedance in production. That same month, Higgsfield submitted the sci-fi short 'Adilia Da' to a film festival with a $1 million prize pool, expanding the range of production cases built on Seedance. Krea released five realism video prompts for free, along with examples applying Seedance. Higgsfield fully disclosed the prompts behind its K-pop action video 'Zephyr,' revealing to the public how Seedance was used.
