Fable 5.1

Fable 5.1 is the latest version of an AI model made by Anthropic. Fable is a model name Anthropic uses separately from Claude, and 5.1 is the version number that follows it. Just as a new smartphone tends to have a slightly better camera or battery than the last one, Fable 5.1 answers the same questions more accurately than its predecessor, Fable 5, while cutting processing costs dramatically.

Since companies need to offer the same performance at a lower price to keep customers from switching to rival models, Anthropic made the way the model recalls previous conversation content more efficient, sharply cutting processing costs.
