DoP

DoP is a video generation model built directly by Higgsfield, an AI video startup. It's presented as a model focused on capturing the craft of filmmaking — camera movement, lighting, and overall visual mood.

Higgsfield develops both Soul, an image model geared toward realistic rendering of faces and objects, and DoP, which handles video. That said, the company doesn't stick only to its own models — it also draws on models from OpenAI, Google, and ByteDance as needed. In fact, many of the films Higgsfield has released publicly were made not with DoP but with ByteDance's Seedance model.

To put it in an analogy: Higgsfield is like a studio equipped with multiple cameras and lenses, and DoP is one camera the studio built itself. Depending on the job, they might use this camera — or borrow one made by another company.
