Blender Add-on

Blender is a free program for making 3D characters, backgrounds, and animations. An add-on is an extra piece you plug into that program afterward. It's similar to installing an app on your phone to add a feature that wasn't there originally. It doesn't create a whole new program — it just adds a new toolbar on top of the screen you already work in.

The Blender add-on from Hedra (Higgsfield) lets you build scenes, generate 3D models, animate characters, and create images and video, all from a floating toolbar over your 3D workspace. It works by taking movement from your phone — if you shake it in your hand — and translating that shake directly into camera movement on screen. The actual computing happens on the company's servers, so it works even on a weaker computer, but if your internet connection drops, you can only view results you've already generated.

What's easy to miss here is that this isn't a new standalone program Higgsfield built from scratch. It's an add-on that runs on top of the widely used existing program Blender, and it's installed simply by dragging a zip file into the Blender window.

Download the Blender add-on zip file from Higgsfield's website. Open the Blender program. Drag the downloaded zip file into the Blender window. From the new toolbar that appears on screen, choose the feature you want: scene creation, character animation, or video generation. Check the estimated cost shown on screen before running the generation.
