Trump Team Rejects Calls to Slow Down AI

Over the weekend that Altman and Musk endorsed Amodei's essay, President Trump said whoever wins on AI wins outright, and the White House's David Sacks told the two companies to stop pretending they need anyone's permission. The government turned down the industry's request for regulation and told the companies to prove it themselves first, without any rules to lean on.
