Blind testing means scoring outputs while hiding who made them. It's like a wine tasting where the labels are covered and rankings are based on taste alone. When people know the brand name, they tend to unconsciously favor the famous one — but cover the label, and comparisons come down to pure quality.

The same logic applies when picking the best among several AI video or image generation services. If evaluators don't know which company or program produced a given video, and they score it only on things like image quality and how natural it looks, the comparison reflects actual performance rather than brand reputation.

A more reliable approach is to feed the same prompt into multiple services, mix up the resulting outputs, hide their identities, and then score them.
