Inflection AI is a U.S. company that develops a personal conversational AI assistant. Its flagship product is a personalized conversational AI assistant called 'Pi'. After co-founder Mustafa Suleyman and much of the core research team moved to Microsoft AI, the technologies and products of the two organizations have sometimes been confused, so it is worth distinguishing them here. Inflection AI is a separate, independent company from Microsoft AI, and the Pi service is operated independently by Inflection AI. Since its founding, the company has raised investment from several major technology firms and continues to operate in the personal AI assistant space.
