NVIDIA pairs Vera Rubin with Groq 3 LPX, quadrupling token speed
Agent-focused inference infrastructure already adopted by SpaceXAI, CoreWeave, and Nebius unveiled at Hot Chips
Groq is a company that builds dedicated chips and cloud services for fast AI model inference. Its flagship products are its self-designed LPU chip and the GroqCloud service built on top of it. It should not be confused with the similarly named Grok, the chatbot model from xAI, as they are separate companies. In August 2026, it was reported that Groq raised $350 million while abandoning its own chip development path and shifting to become a customer adopting NVIDIA chips.
