OmniStar is software that automatically figures out which delivery method will get a package there fastest and cheapest. It was built by last-mile delivery company OneRail, which borrows NVIDIA's chips and software to run the calculations needed for these decisions.

Think of it like an AI dispatcher assigned to every package, instantly deciding which truck it should go on this afternoon to arrive the cheapest and fastest. The company says that a decision which used to take a person about 20 minutes of manual work now takes OmniStar just 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

OneRail trained this decision-making model using delivery data it has gathered over time. Unlike large retailers such as Amazon or Walmart, which have their own logistics networks, smaller retailers that lack this infrastructure can rent this service to achieve similar efficiency.
