Local Orchestrator

A Local Orchestrator works like a courier moving between a company's on-premises systems and AI agents running out in the cloud. Internal ticketing systems often can't be accessed directly from the cloud, for security and other reasons. So the Local Orchestrator pulls newly created tickets out from inside the company's walls, hands them off to the cloud-based AI agent, then brings the agent's response back and registers it in the ticketing system.

Think of it as an in-house liaison who shuttles documents between an employee who can't leave headquarters and an outside team of specialists (the cloud AI) who need to collaborate with them. Thanks to this liaison, headquarters can keep its security policies intact while still tapping into outside expertise.

In the Mobileye story, a Local Orchestrator was set up to link an on-premises ticketing system with AI agents running on AWS cloud. While the word 'orchestrator' often brings to mind a brain that directs multiple AI tasks, here it's really more of a connector whose job is just pulling tickets out of one environment and registering them back in another.
