Agentic Product

An agentic product is one where a person only needs to describe the general direction of the result they want, and the AI decides on and carries out the remaining steps by itself. If older products were like meal kits, where you had to add ingredients in a set order to finish the dish, an agentic product is more like a chef who opens the fridge, decides what to cook, and finishes the whole meal on their own. The user just has to say something like "make dinner," and the product fills in the ingredient choices, cooking order, and plating.

While many existing AI products worked on a single question, single answer basis, agentic products plan and execute multiple steps toward a goal on their own to produce a final result. In a video creation tool, for example, you might only provide the dialogue and mood in words, and the tool would handle scene composition, camera angles, and editing on its own to deliver a finished video.

Higgsfield introduced its "supercomputer," released in May 2026, as an agentic product. This means that if you give it instructions in words, it handles multiple stages of video production on its own and delivers a finished result. A common misunderstanding is thinking this means "the AI got smarter" — in fact, the term refers to whether a product is designed to chain together multiple steps on its own, regardless of the underlying intelligence level.
