Command and Control System

A command and control system works like a military control tower, pulling together scattered information so a commander can make fast, accurate decisions. One easy point of confusion: a command and control system isn't a physical thing like a weapon or a robot—it's a software and procedural framework that gathers information and turns it into orders. When the same company later takes on an 'intelligence analysis' contract, that work supports national policy decisions on a broader scale rather than operations in the field, putting it at a different level from a command and control system.
