B300 Cluster

A B300 Cluster is a computing infrastructure made by bundling together multiple graphics processing units (GPUs) built by NVIDIA. It's similar to how workers who are individually strong but can't move a huge load on their own can handle much bigger tasks once they team up. Training AI models or generating responses requires an enormous amount of computation, more than one or two GPUs alone can handle, so companies run them as a cluster of many GPUs working together instead.
These clusters are physically installed inside data centers, and companies can either build them themselves or rent access through cloud providers. When something is called a "B300 Cluster," it usually refers to a large-scale deployment built around a specific NVIDIA GPU model.

A common misunderstanding here is assuming the company that builds the cluster and the company that makes the chips inside it are the same. In reality, the company that manufactures the GPUs (NVIDIA), the company that installs and operates them in data centers, and the company that offers them to customers as a cloud service are often all different entities.
